Tattoo Care

To insure that your tattoo heals properly, follow these instructions:

Leave bandage on until the following morning
Remove the bandage and wash your tattoo with antibacterial soap and warm water
Do NOT re-bandage your tattoo
Wait two days after removing your bandage and then begin applying hand lotion (*NOT* petroleum jelly) no more than twice a day
Apply lotion for one month even if your tattoo appears healed

For the next 7 to 14 days your tattoo will scab and peel lightly. It will be in the colors of your tattoo and look similar to fish food as it flakes off. As long as you let it fall off on its own, that color is the excess. If you pick it off you will damage the tattoo and remove color! Do not pick at your tattoo!
